Our story
Started in the locker room, built for the community.
Fieldwork was founded by people who understood the gap between what athletes want to do for their communities and what they actually have the bandwidth and infrastructure to do.
We started by helping a handful of pro athletes structure their giving — filing the paperwork, setting up boards, establishing grant criteria. Word spread. Two decades later, we've touched foundations across professional football, baseball, basketball, and boxing.
We also work with non-athlete-led organizations — civic groups, cultural institutions, and community-based nonprofits who need the same level of operational support and strategic guidance.
